Dear Parents:

When we had our Grand Opening of Northern Hemisphere Gymnastics in September of 1999, we
had 30 children enrolled in our program and only three coaches. Even with the very basic equipment
we had in our facility at that time, our program grew very quickly as we gained the trust of parents
all over the Rochester area. Northern Hemisphere has now been in operation at 82 E. Main St. for
seven years. During that time, I have learned our current facility’s strengths, and I have learned its
weaknesses. From the very beginning, it was my dream to build a gym from the ground up,
allowing me to use my knowledge to build the perfect gymnastics facility. That dream is now
becoming a reality.

Everything that parents have loved about Northern Hemisphere will only be improved upon
at the new gym, not taken away. For example, I still find it extremely important that parents are able to
watch as many classes as they choose. This helps us maintain an open, honest relationship with our
parents. Keeping this in mind, our new facility will feature TWO large parent viewing areas. This will
help parents view their child’s class no matter where they are in the gym. It will also help traffic
flow and keep noise levels to a minimum.

In addition, I have kept in mind how much parents enjoy the size of Northern Hemisphere.
We are large enough to offer a variety of activities and equipment, but small enough to give personal
attention to parents and students. Therefore, I have increased space in the new gym for additional
equipment, but our class sizes and ratios will remain the same.

I have also kept in mind what the kids love about Northern Hemisphere: our instructors, our
teaching methods, and most of all our equipment. Our new facility will feature brand new, state-ofthe-
art equipment. I have added an additional 4,000 square feet to the new gym, making room for more
equipment. This means your child will spend more time doing gymnastics and less time waiting in line.
We broke ground at our new location and starting building in November 2005. I would love to
show you pictures of the new gym in this brochure, but unfortunately that was not possible as
construction was still going on when our brochures were printed. Please keep in mind that all pictures
used in this brochure were taken at our old facility. I look forward to seeing you at the new
gym this school year!

Yours Truly,
Paul Libera

President/Owner

NEW FACILITY
SAME PHILOSOPHY:
“Kids First, Winning Second”

Our motto is still “Kids First, Winning Second.” We strive to keep beginner to advanced level
students feeling challenged, but not pressured. Our program will allow your child to progress at his
or her own rate, with the help and encouragement of our experienced instructors. Our instructors give
equal attention to all their students, no matter what their skill level may be. The goal of our
program is for students to have fun, get exercise, and gain self-esteem, all while being in an
environment where safety is taken seriously. We want to help all students feel good about
themselves and their accomplishments, and look forward to coming back class after class.

OUR NEW LOCATION

The new gym is located just minutes away from our old location at 82 East Main Street. The
new facility is located on Barrett Drive, which is between Route 250 and Holt Road in Webster. It
can be accessed via Main Street in Webster or via the ONE WAY access road that runs along the 104
Expressway (see map above; new facility labeled “N.H. Gym”). Northern Hemisphere’s new facility
is located across the street from the Webster Post Office on Barrett Drive.

OWNED AND OPERATED BY

Northern Hemisphere Gymnastics is owned and operated by Paul Libera. Paul attended Bowling Green Graduate School, majoring in School Psychology. He has fifteen years of experience teaching recreational gymnastics classes, and has obtained numerous gymnastics certifications and accreditations.
